Fastrack - Windows (Single User or Local Area Network Versions) Single User Local Station and Demos · Operating System: Windows 98 or higher · Hard Drive Space: 34 megabytes free space plus 3 MB for each 1000 certificates or 5 MB for each 1000 document/certificates. · Processor: Intel or AMD - 300 megahertz or faster. · RAM: 32 megabytes or greater. The station must have at least 512k bytes available. Caution – memory resident programs may take up large amounts of RAM. Fastrack and other database programs can have unpredictable results when operating in an environment with insufficient RAM available. · Rights: User must have "Read/Write/Create" privileges to the Fastrack directory. For upgrading, user must also have "Delete" privileges. Multi-user Network Version File Server: · Operating System: Windows NT v4.0 or higher, or Novell v3.11 or higher · Hard Drive Space: 34 megabytes free space plus 3 MB for each 1000 certificates or 5 MB for each 1,000 documents/certificates. · Note: Fastrack is not optimized as a client/server enterprise wide application and will be very slow on a WAN or hop greater than one. The network must be a local area network or Citrix. Work Stations: · Operating System: Windows 98 or higher · Hard Drive: N/A · Processor: Intel or AMD, 300 megahertz or faster. · RAM: 32 megabytes or greater. Must have at least 512k bytes available. Caution – memory resident programs can take up large amount of RAM. For upgrading, user must also have "Delete" privileges. Monitor Screen Resolution A screen resolution of 1024 x 768 pixels is recommended. Lower screen resolutions may result in insufficient detail being available on some screens and require dragging the screen up or down to get to various areas. The screen may appear to be chopped off at the bottom (compare your screen with the manual). Installation and Startup 1. GG-One Software will send you an email with a link to download the software. 2. Click on the download link. You can either save the installation file or run in place. 3. Once downloaded, execute the installation file. 3. Fastrack defaults to install in the "C:/Program Files/Fastrack" folder. You can "Browse" and change the installation to a network drive and a different folder. 4. A Shortcut called "FASTRACK" will be created for you automatically. For each additional network station that wants to run Fastrack, simply create a shortcut on that station. No extra installation is required. 5.
